If you care at all about soccer, their game was kind of big. I was able to stream it at work (yay dual screens!) and it was great.
The English team just didn’t play with the right intensity or even urgency that Iceland did. There were so many crosses but every single one seemed to go right to a player in a blue shirt. They were also very close to being down by 2 more goals.
Someone’s getting fired.

England just didn’t play. Rooney is past it. Sturridge is selfish. The Spurs player did what they do best, let everyone down. Still it’s nice after 5 years to validated that hiring the fucking Fulham manager was a joke.

England played poorly, and Hodgson made a ton of bad calls. Rashford and Vardy should have come on at the beginning, and Rooney shouldn’t be starting at all. Not picking up Danny Drinkwater is idiotic; he’s a much better midfielder than Jack Wheelchair, and I say that as an Arsenal fan.

So did Iceland end up winning? I watched the first 50 mins while sitting in the dentist chair staring at the TV on the ceiling(did I mention I love this dentist?) At that point Iceland was up 2-1

Roy resigned after the game. Now they need to find a decent manager who can actually read the game and pick the right players. I didn’t see them getting by France if they had won, but this is just bad for England. Major props to Iceland, though. That’s a team with spirit, unlike the other side.

Ended 2-1. Could have easily been 4-1 but bike and header right at the keeper. England has lots of crosses and possession but passes were given away and long sets soared out

Not so great if you’re an England fan. I was really looking forward to France and England but not meant to be.
